ACME Massage Co is David Esteppe LMT

David graduated from the Advanced Fuller School of Massage Therapy in 1998.

The definition of massage therapy is the systematic manipulation of soft tissues of the body for therapeutic purposes. With this working definition, many modalities of working on soft tissue present themselves for study.

Basically, working on the soft tissues (muscles, tendons and ligaments) can be done with some variation of the classic well known Swedish techniques. Swedish massage has ranging effects from simple relaxation, to pain relief and injury rehabilitation. The gentle gliding strokes to deeper pressured movements (by the therapist DBA ACME Massage Co) have been honed from years of studying courses in myofascial release, sports and injury, medical massage and many deep tissues modalities. Each massage is choreographed to any individual client situation.

“I use a hodge-podge of movements to relax muscles, and to stretch out all of the soft tissues during a massage session. There is even a little Thai Massage in the mix. Thai Massage has a nickname as “lazy man’s yoga”, and has some great soft tissue release and acupressure in it. I love having such a variety of modalities going at once. Also, I tend to collect favorite moves from massage therapists who have worked on me over the years. Some of us are rather creative, and can really create some stylish therapeutic massage movements to use. I remember the names of each therapist whose move I use in my massage. “Homage!”, says David.
